Project Overview

CWI was contracted to complete the interior build-out of the previously vacant upper level and make modifications to the existing lower level at M.D. Roberts Magnet School. Modifications of the lower level included expanding spaces to provide a cafeteria with a small kitchen area, renovation an existing room to create a Black Box Theatre, and providing modifications to expand an office space to accommodate a principal’s office, staff restroom, and conference room. The upper level build-out included the construction of twelve classrooms, restrooms, and fine art spaces such as choral, dance, and theatre. Two playgrounds, retaining wall, HVAC equipment (RTUs, water source heat pumps, and energy recovery units), fire sprinkler system, and an intercom system were also installed.
